An important part of life at BBD is paying forward our own good fortune and acting on our responsibility to those with need in our communities. In the spirit of community, our firm sponsors hands-on service opportunities each month. Each project provides positive impact for those in need as well as an opportunity for collaboration and teambuilding. We truly value our opportunities to give back and support our communities in meaningful acts of service. We are thankful for the continuous opportunities to serve our communities. As we prepare for a new year, we are reflecting on another meaningful year of service.

On June 11, BBD traveled to Ellendale, Delaware and Selbyville, Delaware to volunteer with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity for the second year.

BBD firm members taught financial concepts to fifth grade students at the Add B. Anderson Elementary School in the School District of Philadelphia on May 9.  

In continuation of BBD's cherished tradition of service and our summer 2018 service projects, firm members volunteered with the two Philadelphia Ronald McDonald Houses in July and August, preparing dinner for residents at each location.

In continuation of BBD's cherished tradition of service, firm members traveled to Ellendale, Delaware on June 12 to volunteer with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity.

BBD’s ninth annual Week of Service took place Sunday, June 4 through Friday, June 9. Our annual Week of Service was created in 2009 as an opportunity for all staff in our firm to give back. Each year, all firm members are invited to spend a week volunteering at the expense of the firm.

BBD’s eighth annual Week of Service took place Friday, June 10 through Friday, June 17.

On Sunday, June 7, 2015, 17 BBD firm members traveled 10 hours to Eastern Kentucky for the firm’s annual week of service.
