On June 11, BBD traveled to Ellendale, Delaware and Selbyville, Delaware to volunteer with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity for the second year.

Twenty-five BBD volunteers worked on two Habitat for Humanity home sites currently under construction.  Projects included siding, shed construction, preparation for truss construction, landscaping and cleaning.

Habitat for Humanity, established in 1976, is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness by building adequate, affordable shelter for all. The Sussex County, Delaware chapter has been active since 1991 and has built more than 100 homes in the area.
