BBD is very pleased to announce Christi Rovner's return to BBD. Many of our clients will remember that Christi previously worked with the firm for nearly a decade and was an audit manager in the Investment Management Group.
Christi will continue to provide audit services for investment companies. She has extensive experience with the accounting, audit and financial reporting issues affecting:
- International and emerging market funds, including controlled foreign corporations
- Domestic equity funds
- REIT funds
- ETFs
- Funds of funds
- Bond funds
- Hedge funds
- Multi-class structures
Christi also has experience with various financial instruments and derivatives, including options, futures, option futures, and forward currency contracts.
Christi, who began her investment company audit career with BBD in 2006 immediately after her graduation from college, chose to return to BBD because of the firm's special expertise and consistently expanding role in the investment company audit and tax arena.
"I'm excited to have the opportunity to work again with many of the clients I truly enjoyed serving previously," Christi said. "And because we are one of the top firms auditing mutual funds nationwide, I feel that I have endless potential to continue to grow here at BBD."
Christi also is a new mother and considered her family's flexibility needs in making the decision to return. Christi will work with the firm on a part-time schedule.
