BBD was proud to sponsor and attend the third annual Philadelphia Fund Alliance Gala, which was held Thursday, November 1 at The Logan Philadelphia and benefited the local nonprofit Take A Breather Foundation.

The Gala was a huge success, raising more than $80,000 for Take A Breather Foundation. Take A Breather Foundation provides a breather, in the form of a fulfilled wish, to those battling cystic fibrosis (CF) in the Greater Philadelphia area. CF is a chronic genetic disease that interferes with the respiratory, digestive and reproductive systems. The Foundation has granted many wishes, including trips to Disney World, iPads to entertain children during long hospital stays, and beach vacations. 

BBD was the sponsor of the silent auction segment of the evening, which raised a portion of the Take a Breather Foundation donation. BBD also is a proud member of the Steering Committee of the Philadelphia Fund Alliance, which is responsible for executing the annual Gala. 

The Philadelphia Fund Alliance is a group of Philadelphia-based asset management industry professionals who gather, at least annually, for a fundraiser supporting a local charity. Additionally, the Alliance highlights and celebrates our region's influence and accomplishments in the asset management industry.
