BBD is pleased to announce the promotion of Erin McClafferty, the firm’s practice development director, to partner.

Erin joined BBD in 2002 as the firm’s first professional dedicated to growth.  She provides strategic direction for BBD’s marketing, business development and client experience initiatives.  Throughout her 20-year tenure, Erin also has spearheaded various special projects for the firm, including initiatives related to BBD’s recruiting efforts and operations.

“Erin’s passion for BBD and her longtime commitment to the firm’s success is such an integral part of BBD’s culture and brand that it’s hard for many people to think of BBD without thinking of Erin,” said Jim Kaiser, BBD’s managing partner for the firm’s Investment Management Group.  “The promotion of a non-CPA to partner is unique in the history of BBD and remains rare in CPA firms across the country.  However, our partners recognize the value of the marketing and business development role to BBD as well as Erin’s leadership, and we look forward to Erin’s continued contributions as we work together to advance the firm."
