BBD was proud to sponsor the inaugural Women in Nonprofit Leadership Conference: The PowHer of Working Together, which was held Wednesday, April 5 on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. 

The conference brought together 250 women leaders and aspiring women leaders of Philadelphia-area nonprofits to engage in discussions about relevant issues such as:

• Fundraising
• Capacity building
• Board development
• Hiring
• Collaboration
• Diversity

The conference was structured to foster meaningful relationships that last beyond the event.  Featured speakers included Uneeka Jay, Nancy Dunleavy and Tine Hansen-Turton.
