BBD is thrilled to announce that the firm has again been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the Best Places To Work. BBD also was named a Best Place To Work in 2017 and 2018.
According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, a record number of companies across the area again competed to be named a 2019 Best Place To Work. BBD was honored among the medium-size companies, which includes companies with 50-99 employees.
“Very few companies earn the Best Place To Work distinction three years in a row,” said Bridget Flanagan, BBD’s Director of Human Resources. “But very few companies are like BBD. We continue to build a special culture here that our firm members and clients truly value."
To compete, BBD firm members completed a survey that was administered by Quantum Workplace. Each company awarded Best Place To Work status reached a statistical benchmark to win. Quantum describes their process in this way: “While many awards programs remain subjective, ours has been scientific since day one. In fact, we were the first to utilize a full-blown employee engagement survey as the sole scoring mechanism. This is still the case today. Our survey was developed by some of the most brilliant minds in survey research methodology and organizational psychology, and we update it regularly to make sure it stays relevant.”
