BBD is thrilled to announce that the firm has again been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the Best Places To Work. BBD was also named a Best Place To Work in 2017.
According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, a record number of companies across the area competed to be named a 2018 Best Place To Work. BBD was named among the medium-size companies, which includes companies with 50-99 employees.
“This award recognizes and honors our exceptional firm members here at BBD, and receiving the award two years in a row is a special testament to the culture that we continue to create and develop together,” said Bridget Flanagan, BBD’s Director of Human Resources. “We are truly proud of our firm members and thank them for making BBD a Best Place To Work again.”
To compete, BBD firm members completed an employee survey that was administered by Quantum in May of 2018. Each company awarded Best Place To Work status reached a statistical benchmark to win. Quantum describes their process in this way: “While many awards programs remain subjective, ours has been scientific since day one. In fact, we were the first to utilize a full-blown employee engagement survey as the sole scoring mechanism. This is still the case today. Our survey was developed by some of the most brilliant minds in survey research methodology and organizational psychology, and we update it regularly to make sure it stays relevant.”
BBD firm members attended the Philadelphia Business Journal's event on August 2 at The Fillmore Philadelphia to celebrate and accept the award.
"We were very excited to accept the award on behalf of each one of our firm members, and we were especially glad to have so many of our great people from BBD with us at the event. It really is their award," said Flanagan, who attended the event to receive the award along with several BBD firm members. Photos of BBD firm members at the event appear above and at right.
