BBD hosted its first ever Summer Leadership Program for local university students on Wednesday, June 20. 

BBD's Summer Leadership Program provided the students with an exclusive opportunity to get a close-up, inside look at what it's really like to work in public accounting and at BBD.  

The day featured sessions on a variety of topics, including an overview of BBD, a conversation on intern expectations, BBD-themed Jeopardy, a personal branding seminar, and a tax versus audit panel discussion, among other presentations. BBD firm members and the students ended the day with bowling, ping-pong, pool and networking at Lucky Strike in Center City. 

The Summer Leadership Program is intended to educate participants on issues impacting them now as accounting students and on issues that will impact them as they continue through college and internships and, ultimately, into the workforce. It is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the industry as well as to potential employment. The students are invited to apply for BBD's internships.
