How COSO Helps Nonprofits Bolster Internal Controls

For more than two decades, the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) has provided for-profit companies with guidance on designing and maintaining internal controls, as well as assessing their effectiveness.
