Tom has more than eight years of accounting and tax experience and is a manager with BBD’s Commercial Enterprise Group.

Tom is the in-charge accountant for many of our firm’s family-owned manufacturing, distribution and business-to-business service clients. He concentrates in providing accounting, tax, technology and compilation and review services to small and middle-market businesses in the Delaware Valley area. Tom works closely with these clients and provides them with day-to-day assistance with accounting issues, tax matters and general business advice.

Tom has extensive knowledge and experience with tax issues affecting privately-owned businesses with multi-state operations and their owners. He is thoroughly familiar with the federal, state and local tax challenges facing these entities. Tom assists many of our clients with identifying tax planning opportunities and developing tax saving strategies. He also provides them with proactive advice to help them comply with the complex array of federal, state and local tax rules and regulations. Tom has successfully assisted many of our clients with state tax audits and is especially familiar with state sales and use tax issues.

Tom has specialized expertise with small business accounting systems. He is certified as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor as well as being familiar with a wide range of other small business software products. Tom has assisted many clients with improving the efficiency and effectiveness of their accounting systems and increasing the effectiveness of their internal controls.
