Governmental Audit Quality Center
Our firm is a member of the Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC), sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The Center is a voluntary membership Center for CPA firms that perform audit and attestation engagements under Government Auditing Standards and the Uniform Guidance. As a member of the GAQC, we are committed to performing the highest quality not-for-profit audits. We demonstrate our commitment by voluntarily agreeing to adhere to the Center’s significant membership requirements.
Service is an important aspect of life at BBD. We are committed to service opportunities througout the year and our annual Week of Service is both a beloved firm tradition and a unique opportunity among CPA firms. 2017 marked BBD's ninth annual week-long service opportunity. We spent the week volunteering both locally and nationally. A portion of BBD firm members completed Habitat for Humanity-style home restoration projects in Kentucky while an additional group participated in a fundraiser to help end homelessness in Philadelphia.
